Trust us, every time we spot a new trend in the bridal fashion scene, we can’t resist ourselves from sharing it with our lovely brides-to-be. Whether it is a unique trending color that’s making a loud noise or some experimental silhouettes that are having a major moment, it is our utmost pleasure to introduce new bridal fashion trends to you guys. After all, we want all our brides to put their best fashion foot forward on their wedding day.

And one trend that has been making us go gaga for quite a while is the inclusion of bandhani dupattas in the bridal look. The vibrant tie and dye colors of Gujarat’s bandhani dupattas have always been a favorite among girls but spotting them in the bridal ensembles has truly been a feast for our eyes. A few brides recently made strong fashion statements by teaming a bandhani dupatta with their wedding lehengas, and we already think that its gonna be one ruling trend in the upcoming wedding season.

All thanks to this Pakistani Sabyasachi bride who brought this stunning trend into the limelight and took our breaths away with her surreal bridal look. Looking like a dreamy vision in a bottle green lehenga, this bride opted for a double dupatta look. But what set her apart from the rest was the pop of color that she added to her look with the red and green bandhani dupatta.

In fact, the biggest wedding of 2018 also approved this trend. We are talking about none other than Isha Ambani, who walked down the aisle looking like a true royal bride in an off-white and golden lehenga. While her veil resonated the lehenga, the bright red bandhani dupatta embellished with heavy mirror work uplifted the overall bridal look.

Here’s a yet another gorgeous bride in green who took the double dupatta game a notch above by incorporating a heritage-rich bandhani to her D-day ensemble. Her bandhani dupatta featured traditional tie-dye patterns, a heavy golden border and a bright red stain in the middle.

Bandhani dupattas go well with red lehengas as well and this beautiful bride proved the same! Looking absolutely gorgeous in her red wedding lehenga, this bride draped a bandhani dupatta on a shoulder for an added touch of traditionality.

We desperately hope to see more modern-day brides sporting the richness of the evergreen bandhani dupattas on their wedding.
