Bridal Ensemble: A Mandap Turned into a Lehenga

For her big moment, Avika donned a one-of-a-kind creation by FLT India — a Khadi India certified handcrafted lehenga made from Eri silk, featuring traditional Kasab gota gutha embroidery. The lehenga, named Mandap-e-Gulzar, was more than just couture — it was a story.

Inspired by the grandeur of a traditional Indian wedding mandap, Avika’s lehenga transformed sacred architecture into wearable art. The base design began with the staircases of the Hal-e-Belur temple, each step symbolizing a chapter in India's rich heritage. Rising from this foundation, every kali of the lehenga formed an arch, much like a mandap’s canopy, framing a majestic guldasta that stood tall like a ceremonial kalash, overflowing with red roses and bailey flowers.

Higher still, delicate floral veils cascaded down the fabric — representing blessings, fragrance, and joy — capturing the emotional essence of the wedding ritual in a visually breathtaking ensemble.

The red hue honoured bridal tradition, while the spiritual storytelling infused into the embroidery made it a standout piece for any bride looking to embody both heritage and individuality.

Groom’s Look: Coordinated Craftsmanship with Cultural Roots

Milind Chandwani wore a coordinated sherwani from FLT India’s Mandap-e-Gulzar collection — matching the theme and textile of Avika’s bridal outfit. His sherwani, also crafted from Eri silk with Kasab gota gutha embroidery, brought masculine elegance to the same storytelling.

The beige-toned sherwani  with peach accents allowed the story to unfold with grace and detail, while still keeping his look refined and understated. He completed his look with a safa and ornamental kalgi and mala matching Avika'a  emerald jewellery.

Jewellery: Emeralds, Diamonds & Heirloom Touches

Jewellery played a starring role in Avika’s bridal styling. She chose a mix of emerald and diamond pieces — a bold choker, cascading layered strings, statement bangles — all of which caught the light with every movement.

A maang tikka and matha patti completed the regal, heirloom-inspired look. The green of the emeralds added a striking contrast against the red and gold, giving the bride that timeless yet fresh bridal glow.

Hair & Makeup: Radiant Simplicity

Rather than over-the-top glam, Avika’s beauty team opted for luminous skin and soft features. Her makeup look spotlighted kohl-rimmed eyes with gentle shimmer, light lashes, a touch of blush, and a pink-toned lip that felt elegant and wearable.

Her hair was styled in a sleek centre-parted bun, clean and precise, allowing the jewellery and lehenga neckline to shine. This hairstyle also translates beautifully to both closeups and full-length shots — a crucial point when every moment is being filmed.
