We love weddings which are more about the people - the couple is close to, and not merely about fancy outfits, sprawling dreamy decor or huge gatherings. Where all you want is to have fun and let go of yourself without people around judging you. It is soulfully pleasant to have witnessed couples having intimate weddings which are truly larger on life and not in size. The couple wanted an adventure out of their wedding and made that happen with celebrations taking place in both Goa and Mumbai with a different set of people.

This wedding was no pomp and show but just a subtle union of two lovebirds among their precious people and so was also preciously captured by The Photo Diary in the most beautiful way possible.

A Boho Youngster's Getaway In Goa at Fort Tiracol

Atiya says, "I wanted everyone to have a big smile on their faces and enjoy every bit of it & so we kept everything a bit experimental and only invited the people we knew. To document this adventure, we got The Photo Diary on board. They captured the essence of our wedding perfectly and did an absolutely amazing job!

The Catholic Wedding With The Most BEAUTIFUL Bride in White

I personally love Catholic weddings! Taking the oath with the holy bible, that first kiss, that white wedding dress and that veil, and with all that, your man dressed all dapper in a black tux. It's all just out of a fairytale.

We love how The Photo Diary captured the raw emotions and the adventure of this couple in artsy both coloured and black & white portraits. After all, we all know the beauty of black & white photographs. Don't we?

About the couple

Anuj Rakyan, the founder of India's first cold press juice company, RAW Pressery got married to the love of his life Atiya Mulla who's the Wedding Director of Magnanimous Group. The wedding madness began with a boho youngster's party at Fort Tiracol in Goa with about a gathering of 150 close friends. The celebrations were further scheduled to happen in Mumbai with family and social groups. The Catholic ceremony took place at The Holy Cathedral, Woodhouse Church in Mumbai, which was followed by a cocktail/reception at The Mansion, Four Seasons.

Wedding Planning advice from the Bride herself

Atiya says, "All weddings come with the preconceived notions that they will be chaotic – but that isn’t so – it’s one of the happiest times, with lots of shopping and celebrations to come. In hindsight, I would say, start planning early! There’s a lot to be done whether it’s shopping, making arrangements for hair & make-up (all the good artists get taken early), invites, photographers, videographers, hampers and so on. Let the fun begin even before it has too." Make a note ladies!
