2018 was undeniably the year of celebrity weddings! We saw some of the most eligible bachelors of Bollywood settling down with their loved ones. While some of them said 'I do' in low-key intimate ceremonies, others had the most extravagant nuptials ever. It kept raining celeb weddings throughout the year. And here's a little throwback to all the celeb weddings that kept us on our toes in 2018.

1. Mohit Marwah & Antara Motiwala

2018 started on a bang with the star-studded lavish nuptials of Bollywood actor Mohit Marwah in Dubai. Mohit, who also happens to be Anil Kapoor’s nephew tied the knot with beau Antara Motiwalac on 20th February in a big fat Punjabi wedding. The wedding shenanigans were attended by the entire Kapoor clan and many other B-town celebs.

2. Shriya Saran & Andrei Koshcheev

The Drishyam actress Shriya Saran tied the knot with her Russian boyfriend Andrei Koshcheev in a secret Mumbai wedding on 19th March. Their low-key intimate wedding in Mumbai was followed with a lavish reception in Udaipur.

3. Milind Soman & Ankita Konwar

The heartthrob supermodel and actor turned marathoner, Milind Soman got hitched to his long-time girlfriend Ankita Konwar on 11th April 2018 in a traditional Assamese wedding in Alibaug. The couple also had fun-filled pre-wedding ceremonies including Haldi, Mehendi, and Sangeet. Here is a glimpse of the joyous wedding of this marathoner-couple.

But that’s not all! Exactly after 3 months of their Assamese wedding, the couple exchanged wedding vows again in a barefoot wedding amidst the woods and against a serene waterfall in Spain. 4. Sonam Kapoor & Anand Ahuja

The most legit style icon of Bollywood aka Sonam Kapoor finally put rest to the rumors and confirmed her relationship with Delhi based businessman Anand Ahuja. The much-in-love couple got hitched in a big fat Punjabi wedding. Sonam and Anand solemnized their love in an Anand Karaj ceremony on 8th May, which was preceded by star-studded mehendi and Sangeet revelries and followed by a grand reception. With so many celebrities in attendance and all of them dressed in their sartorial best, Sonam and Anand’s wedding soiree was undeniably the most stylish one of the year!

5. Neha Dhupia & Angad Bedi

While the world was still watching the crazy inside dance videos from Sonam Kapoor’s starry reception, Neha Dhupia secretly tied the knot with boyfriend Angad Bedi in a hush-hush wedding on 10th May. Away from the glam and glitz, the actors said ‘I Do’ in a pristine Sikh style ceremony in New Delhi amogst their very dear family and friends.

6. Himesh Reshammiya & Sonia Kapoor

The wedding saga continued in the month of May as music composer-singer Himesh Reshammiya took vows with girlfriend Sonia Kapoor. Sonia and Himesh got married in a private ceremony at his residence on 11th May.

7. Shweta Tripathi & Chaitnya Sharma

The ever chirpy and adorable, Masaan actress Shweta Tripathi too settled down with her rapper boyfriend Chaintnya Sharma this year on 29th June. The adorable couple had a blissful Goa wedding which was only attended by close friends and family. This goofy couple's wedding revelries also included the fun-filled pool and pyjama parties as well. "We walked 7 circles around a fire with our closest people around to make sure heaven keeps us together for the rest of our lives. It doesn't get better than this," the couple said in a joint statement.

8. Sumeet Vyas & Ekta Kaul

2018 was truly an auspicious year for Permanent Roommates fame, Sumeet Vyas! It was the year when Sumeet made his Bollywood debut opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan with the film Veere Di Wedding, and then got married to his ladylove Ekta Kaul on 15th September. Sumeet and Ekta flew to Jammu for their traditional wedding ceremony which was preceded by haldi and mehendi and sangeet ceremonies.

9. Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh

The superstars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh finally solemnized their love in what was the most beauteous and love-filled wedding soiree ever. #DeepVeer flew to Lake Como, Italy to unite in the bond of lifelong matrimony. The madly-in-love duo had a picturesque mehendi ceremony which was followed by Konkan style wedding and then an Anand Karaj ceremony on 14th and 15th November respectively. The newlyweds also hosted multiple receptions for their loved ones in Bengaluru and Mumbai respectively.

10. Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas

After having an intimate traditional Roka ceremony at her residence in August, Priyanka Chopra got married to American singer and actor Nick Jonas in an extravagant yet intimate Jodhpur Wedding. The duo made for a royal couple as they exchanged vows in both Christian and Hindu style wedding ceremonies on 1st December. Their pre-wedding festivities included a colorful mehendi and a glitzy sangeet, all of it was one happy affair. #Nickyanka too hosted multiple receptions for their industry friends and acquaintances to celebrate the union of their endless love.

11. Isha Ambani & Anand Piramal

Celeb weddings kept pouring in in the last month of the year 2018! Soon after Priyanka and Nick’s hearty wedding in Udaipur, it was her BFF Isha Ambani who had the biggest wedding of the year. After exchanging rings in lavish engagement ceremony in Lake Como, Italy in the month of September, Isha and Anand Piramal took Saath Pheras on 12th December in an opulent wedding ceremony held at the Ambani house, Antilia. The wedding was preceded with a three-day long pre-wedding festivities in Udaipur which was attended by eminent personalities from the world of Bollywood, international politics, sports, and business.

12. Kapil Sharma & Ginni Chatrath

Comedy king and Bollywood actor Kapil Sharma also tied the knot this year, with his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath. On 13th December, the couple exchanged vows in a big fat Punjabi wedding in Jalandhar which was followed by a reception in Amritsar. Kapil and Ginni also hosted a grand post-wedding bash in Mumbai which was attended by the creme la da creme of Bollywood.

13. Saina Nehwal & Parupalli Kashyap

Indian shuttlers and Commonwealth Games medalists, Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap also stepped into the beautiful union of matrimony this year. The lovely couple tied the knot on 14th December in a simple registered marriage at Saina's residence.
