Actress Mouni Roy has officially tied the knot with Dubai-based businessman and investment banker Suraj Nambiar at a destination wedding in Goa and we have all the scoop!

The internet is buzzing with excitement and it's all because of a stunning Bollywood wedding featuring Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar. The couple recently got hitched in a dual ceremony at the Hilton Hotel, Goa as their friends and family cheered them on. 

Suraj, who is a Dubai-based entrepreneur and investment banker, crossed paths with Mouni back in 2019 during a New Year Eve's celebration. The duo has since been dating quietly for almost two years. And now they've finally gotten married at a grand destination wedding!

Photographed by Priyam Parikh Pictures, pictures of the festivities recently hit the net, capturing different facets of the wedding ceremonies. Present for the wedding were also some of the duo's closest star friends including actress Mandira Bedi, actor Arjun Bijlani and Aashka Goradia Goble.

Haldi Ceremony

The couple started their pre-wedding festivities with a fun haldi ceremony during the high noon hours of 26th January. Mouni looked gorgeous in her simple yet elegant white embroidered lehenga with a gold foil border which she matched with white floral accessories. Suraj, on the other hand, was dressed in a simple white short kurta and pyjama combination. The venue was swathed in hues of yellow, orange and white, with a contrast of green adding more vibrance. The two were spotted sitting in gleaming brass urlis, where their friends and family bathed them in flower petals along with haldi. 

Mehendi Ceremony

Following the haldi and lunch was the mehendi ceremony, for which Mouni looked like a full-blown boho-chic cream in her yellow Payal Singhal outfit that was adorned with tassels and cowrie shells. She paired the look with subtle makeup and a pair of statement earrings and maangtikka. The couple stepped into the peach and red shaded venue while grooving to their favourite track, following which Mouni was spotted in her comfy spot on a large red sofa while getting her mehendi done. 

Malayali Wedding

The serene Malayali wedding took place the next day, which was a step to pay homage to Suraj's traditions, which hails from Bengaluru. The breathtaking ceremony was covered in breezy white drapes and fragrant jasmine blooms. For the Malayali wedding, Mouni chose a traditional white Kanjivaram with a red border and golden weave. She accessorized her look with beautiful deep gold temple jewellery that included a mathapatti, a nakshi work waist belt, jhumkas, bangles, a choker, and a long Lakshmi haar. Suraj, on the other hand, kept it simple and sauve in a white kasavu lungi and a beige kurta.
