Are you ready to dare the cold while looking your bridal best? Read on:

Best ways to keep yourself warm at your winter wedding

1. Ditch the usual dupatta and opt for a warm stole

Ladies, how about having a stunningly embellished velvet or a finely embroidered pashmina or cashmere stole instead of the usual dupattas for your winter wedding outfits?! Carry it loosely or have it stylishly draped, suit yourself with a warm stole and you’re good to go!
Also, for your shaadi ka jodaa opt for a stole as one of your double dupattas and have that draped over you while to take the other lighter one over your head! All cozied up!

2. Wear warm leggings underneath the lehenga

With all that biting cold and harsh winds blowing, your legs are bound to freeze under your open flared lehenga skirt or sarees. One of the best ways to avoid that is by wearing a pair of warm thermal leggings underneath them. It would bring you that much-needed warmth and would not make your outfit any bulkier. Be careful about it's peek-a-boos, they can be disastrous.

3. Opt for warmer fabrics

The best and most essential thing that you should keep in mind while bridal shopping is that you choose only those outfit fabrics that are more on the warmer side. Opting for outfits in silks and velvets should be your go-to, at least for night functions! Sarees and lehengas in these fabrics look gorgeous AF and are obviously the “perfect winter fabrics”.

4. Have a warm lining stitched in your blouse

Lining beneath your suits and blouses is essential for no peek-a-boos and a neatly structured finishing. For the lining of your blouses and tops, choose warmer cloth materials for those snug feels. Fabrics like raw silk, matka silk, flannel, and even pashmina are some amazing choices to have your blouses lined with.

5. Warm slips under suits

Keeping yourself warm is relatively easier if you’re going to choose suits or kurta dresses for your lighter functions. You can either get yourself a warm fabric slip stitched to wear underneath or wear a thermal one (Easily available in local markets). The comfort of that fabulously flared Anarkalis and dresses topped off with lesser shivering, well, who wouldn’t love that?!

6. Wear a full sleeved blouse

Another option to keep yourself from freezing is opting for a full sleeved blouse. Yes we know those sleeveless and off shoulder blouses are super sexy and of course who doesn’t like a tad bit of show off after all. But, you need to take care of yourself too and full sleeves can be stylish too! Have those full sleeves gorgeously embellished with embroideries or beautiful broad borders or opt for those super stylish churidaar sleeves. They’re amazeballs, believe us!

7. Capes and jackets to the rescue.

Make your wedding outfits more mod and trendy and don those stunning capes and jackets over your outfits. They would not only protect you from the cold but elevate your whole bridal look. A caped blouse for your sarees or a jacket over your top and skirt (or pants) set are great ideas to wear sports something different and chic as a bride that gives you a defining edge.

One of them being the ever-stylish juttis. They're super comfortable, available in plenty styles and colors and you can even get them to customize from the best jutti brands in India, easily.
