From Mumbai to Mauritius - a tale of two hearts that found each other despite staying miles away. Sahil belonging to Mauritius fell in love with Dipika from Mumbai and the two decided to tie the knot at Sheraton Hua Hin Thailand; a dreamy destination rendering an atmosphere of a perfect blend of sophistication and fun. From a tropical beach-y pool party with a flash mob to a classy big fat Indian wedding- their marriage was definitely a sight to behold.

The artsy décor, the moments of sheer enjoyment and love that define this wedding have been impeccably brought to life by their wedding photographer Siddharth Pruthi for us to gape at.

Let’s begin with the drooling, shall we?

An elegant Welcome Dinner for guests followed by an after-party

The setup for the welcome dinner was kept very elegant with white décor and a round bar lightened up with white disco ball hangings, garlands and twinkling strings of fairy lights. The entry of the bride and groom was intimate yet beautiful with them walking down the aisle, hand in hand, flanked by their loved ones holding sparklers.

The bride dazzled in a cold shoulder embellished grey gown. Thrilling ariel dance stunts and a live performance by Singer Smarath Swarup kept the entertainment quotient high. This followed by a happening after-party at Black, concluding a fun-packed day.

A pool party with the coolest flash mob performance by Family members

With summers setting in, a nice breezy pool party is all it takes for everyone to let their hair down and have a bash. Dipika and Sahil’s pool party exuded a very tropical beachy vibe with a blue and white décor theme. A massive sign reading “Pool party” on the pool, cutesy vibrant dreamcatcher hanging from blue curtains, bottled up fresh flowers attached to beach umbrellas, sun beds with pyramid structured shades - the little details made the setup looked completely aesthetic.

The Baaratis sported green polo Tees with their nicknames customized on the back. The bride & groom entered in style riding a fun rickshaw with balloons and dancers to the tunes of “Uptown Funk”, followed by a cheerful flash mob by their friends and relatives shaking a leg on “Gallangoodiyan”.

The bride looked pretty in a yellow tasselled blouse paired with a high waist yellow pleated skirt while the groom rocked the casual look in a peach shirt and white pants.

A classy Moroccan themed Sangeet Ceremony

The setting for an Indoor Sangeet was kept classy with a gold and royal blue hue in the Hotel’s banquet hall with Moroccan lanterns of various designs used as hangings and table centrepieces adding a very royal touch. The couple made a boisterous entry to the thumping of dhols followed by amazing sangeet performances choreographed by Anisha Thadani. The bride looked a diva in a deep blue lehenga designed by Ridhi Mehra.

Beautiful Pastel Bride on the D-day

For her wedding, the bride chose to go for a heavy gold lehenga with a pinkish hue and floral embellishments all over, designed by Tamanna Punjabi Kapoor, looked nothing less than surreal. The décor colour palette matched with her outfit shade-pastel pink with the stage or the mandap adorned with flowers and draped curtains and a brass candle-lit chandelier. Sahil looked dapper in a powder pink bandhgala paired with a burgundy dupatta.

Regal Reception night with a Transparent Bar

The reception party was an exquisite one with an intimate flavour. The décor was very sophisticated with the stage area decorated with shimmery gold curtains, bespoke hangings and stage lights. A 3D flower wall was set up which served as a photo booth for the guests along with a unique concept of a 'transparent bar'.

Dipika donned a regal off-shoulder burgundy gown, while Sahil looked classy in a navy tux.
