The wedding season is officially about to kick off. But before that comes the season of pre-wedding shoots. You know the photographer you want to hire, the props you want to use, the clothes that you want to wear but do you know where are you going to shoot?

Yes, it's suggested not to land up at any random place for your shoot. To help you out from the trouble, we have listed a few of our favourite places in Delhi for a pre-wedding shoot (with charges and entry fees!)

#1 Hauz Khas Village, South Delhi

The location boasts of both the worlds. The current modern avatar with some Indo-Islamic architecture. Certainly, it deserves to be at the top of the list and is not to be missed. It has a huge platter of things to serve – a serene lake, fort, deer park, green pastures and the bylanes that can add a tinge of rustiness and quirkiness to your photographs.

#2 Lodhi Gardens, Lodhi Estate

Spread over 90 acres, Lodhi Gardens is surrounded by works of the 15th century. If you are a couple who loves architecture and nature at the same time, then it will surely make you go head over heels with its lush green gardens, ancient monuments, flowers, lakes etc. especially in the mornings, letting the couple to bring out emotions and expressions perfectly.

#3 Humayun's Tomb, Mathura Road

Whether it is ‘Humayun’s Tomb’ or ‘Lodhi Gardens’, couples mostly go for a historical pre wedding shoot. Well known for its Mughal Persian architecture, the tomb is one of the most enviable spots locations in the city. The rustic balconies and decorations make sure to give an old world charm to your photos.

#4 Agrasen ki Baoli near Connaught Place

Agrasen Ki Baoli, Delhi’s oldest monument remains to be one of the most preferred choices amongst couples for a unique photo shoot. It is an ancient step well, consisting of 103 red stone steps with walls lined up in arched niches, solitude and seclusion.

#5 Connaught Place, Central Delhi

Located in the heart of Delhi, it is an amalgamation of authentic traditions and cultures. It may seem like an off-centre choice in the beginning, but you can incorporate rustic elements like white walls and huge pillars to shower the regal charm of Delhi.

#6 The Rail Museum, Chanakyapuri

Want to relive those old royal days with Maharaja trains as your backdrop? Then head straight to this rustic yet so contemporary backdrop which will assure you an extraordinary baggage of photos to cherish all your lifetime.

#7 Lodhi Art District near Meher Chand Market

Situated on the bylanes of Delhi, Lodhi Art District is perfect for all those couples who would like to add a rainbow of colours with a contemporary look to their photos. The walls are painted by over 28 photographers all over India and have been transformed into an open art gallery for the public.

#8 India Gate, Central Delhi 

Pictures which are full of life and colours is what you will get here. Adorned with an array of trees and scenic lawns, it is one of the favourite spots for both couples and photographers. It provides a stunning Triumphal Arch backdrop for love struck couples.

#9 Okhla Bird Sanctuary, Noida

One of the most glistening places for pre wedding shoots, Okhla Bird Sanctuary lets you flirt with the camera among the lush green nature. It is situated in Noida, and is home to more than 302 bird species, fitting perfect for its open spaces and morning gleam.

#10 The Roseate near Gurgaon

A larger than life location for a pre-wedding shoot, The Roseate hotel (previously Dusit Devrana) is one of a kind. Nestled between Delhi and Gurgaon, it has huge water bodies, lavish lawns, scenic architecture and breath taking outdoor views which will surely be worth your time and money.

#11 Tikli Bottom, Gurgaon

A one stop venue for those who would like to add a touch of the vintage era to their shoots. The location has a modern Lutyens style set up amidst the grandeur of a courtyard with an expansive garden space. Though getting there is bit of a task, one can get completely cut off from the hustle of the city and rejoice the ambience of a serene hill station.·

#12 ITC Grand Bharat Hotel near Gurgaon

Located in Gurgaon the place is awe inspiring in itself. The grandness with a touch of royalty will surely make you go head over heels. This may not be easy on your pocket but promises to let the larger than life feels invade your photo shoot. ·
