No Ambani wedding is complete without our favorite Bollywood stars in attendance! We were not yet over the best ever fashion parade of B-town stars at Isha Ambani's wedding, that we witnessed another one recently at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's wedding nuptials. Well, we loved every bit of it.
Dressed in their glamorous best, oodles of celebrities poured in at the Akash Ambani's wedding to give us the best kind of wedding fashion inspiration. While Kiara Advani, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor oozed sheer gorgeousness in their designer lehengas, Karisma, Deepika and Shilpa Shetty showed how to slay in sarees. The stylish men weren't behind in this fashion extravaganza either. Shahid Kapoor, SRK, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar and so many others made strong sartorial statements, that definitely need your attention.
Here we list some of the best fashion moments we saw at the #AkuStoleTheShlo wedding.
Stealing the most limelight in color-coordinated outfits at the royal Ambani wedding this time was the dazzling duo, Karan Johar & Alia Bhatt. The two spilled some crazy summery vibes donning the color of joy-yellow, from Sabyasachi's latest Fiza collection. While Alia looked effervescent as ever in her yellow lehenga-choli paired with a huge diamond necklace, centre-parted bun and dewy makeup, Karan, on the other hand, looked all dapper in his acid yellow bandhgala.
The Begum of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan came dressed in an icy blue hand-embroidered & mirror work lehenga by designer Manish Malhotra and yet again left us bewitched with her scintillating appearance. We loved how she wrapped the dupatta around her shoulders and rounded off her look with a diamond choker necklace, a loose ponytail, highlighted cheeks and nude lips (Just Bebo style!).
Putting their best fashion foot forward, the most loved duo of the tinsel town, Ranveer & Deepika turned up wearing color-contrasting outfits for Akash & Shloka's wedding. Ranveer stayed true to his class apart fashion sense and donned a classic gota-patti work black bandhgala from Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla. Whereas Deepika clad herself in a coral-pink Sabyasachi saree detailed with subtle zari work all over. She teamed it with a deep V-neck blouse and finished off the look with a resplendent rani haar & choker set, a low ponytail and soft makeup.
Dressed in a fully-embellished blush pink lehenga from Manish Malhotra's Mijwan collection, Kiara Advani literally got our hearts racing on repeat. We love how she let her glimmering outfit make the loudest noise, keeping the accessories to minimal.
For the reception too, the diva opted for a glimmering yellow outfit embellished with metallic 3-D motifs and teamed it with naturally luscious locks, clean makeup and a pair of dangles.
Making a striking appearance at Akash & Shloka's wedding was also our favorite couple, Shah Rukh Khan & Gauri Khan. Shah Rukh looked lit AF in his pristine chikankari ivory bandhgala paired with a pair of dhoti pants, dark brown brogues and a double-layered pearl maala. Gauri complimented him just well in her elegant grey feather-detailed saree from Falguni & Shane Peacock with a diamond necklace, nude pink lips, and wavy tresses adding the finishing touches to her overall look.
Janhvi Kapoor set the temperatures soaring high as she dazzled in an all gold lehenga choli beautifully hand-crafted with mirrors by Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla. The hot newbie further accentuated her look with a pair of chandbaali earrings, a messy bun, flushed cheeks and smokey eyes.
Channelling her inner goddess in a svelte dusty pink saree from Faabiiana, Shilpa Shetty made a head-turning appearance at Shloka & Akash's wedding. The fitness queen paired her saree with a sultry strappy blouse, a royal bib necklace and a stylish potli bag and we're taking all sorts of inspiration from her.
Priyanka Chopra truly personified elegance and charm in a silver lace saree, embellished with Swarovski crystals and pearls from Tarun Tahiliani. Keeping her look minimal yet edgy, the actress paired her saree with natural waves, a bold lip colour, a diamond bracelet and metallic eyes.
Ranbir Kapoor kept his look all classy and effortless in a deep-wine bandhgala with ivory pants and we're majorly obsessing over it! (Not to miss out on those uber chic black aviators that added a dash of edge to his look!)
When it comes to Ambanis' celebrations, the Bachchans have always stepped out in their best of designer outfits. And this time too, they made some impressive appearances. While Aish donned an ink blue Manish Malhotra lehenga with silver-embellishments on Akash & Shloka's big day, junior Bachchan and Aaradhya wore a statement gota-patti work bandhgala from Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla and a baby-pink lehenga choli respectively.
Playing their outfit game strong at the #Akustoletheshlo reception, the mommy-daughter duo got dressed in elegant pastel-hued outfits festooned with sterling silver accents. Whereas, Daddy Abhishek opted for a basic black tuxedo with a black bow-tie and looked all sophisticated.
While everyone else banked on blingy and shimmery outfits to make a statement at Akash & Shloka's wedding, Katrina ditched walking the usual path and dressed herself in a distinctive blossoming blue lehenga by Anita Dongre. She further upped her look with a glamorous pearl strung choker, matching earrings, sleek straight hair and subtle makeup.
Karishma Kapoor made quite a mark with her outfit choices at the Ambani's wedding extravaganza. The beauteous lady strutted in style dressed in a mogra beading sari in fine chanderi with kata dabka and gota work and a double silk kota blouse at the wedding. And just when we thought that was all, we got our hands on her second look from Akash & Shloka's wedding reception, which was way more experimental. The Bollywood diva was seen clad in a red saree from Raw Mango with a long brocade jacket.
Malaika literally shone like a star in a dull pink lehenga with antique gold zardozi and mirror work created by designer Seema Khan. She paired it with a sultry plunging cut-work blouse and rounded off her look with a slick-tight bun, brown lips, a diamond choker and fluttery lashes.
Followed by Malaika, we have her alleged boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor in the list. The actor looked all dapper dressed in a long black coat with a cushioned shirt, black boots and a sharp black hat at the grand Akash & Shloka wedding.
Donning a yummy pink creation by Manish Malhotra with intricate details, Kriti Sanon was a vision to behold. She fashioned her monotone attire with a pair of silver statement earrings, pink lips, and a gorgeous bracelet. And it couldn't have been better!
Another Bollywood beauty who truly mesmerized us with her look was Raveena Tandon. Dressed in a Jayanti Reddy ruffle embroidered byzantine blouse and lehenga set, the actress looked no less than a queen. We love how she accessorized her look with a huge maang tikka and elaborate earrings and finished it off with minimal makeup.
Keeping his style game on point, Sidharth Malhotra donned a printed bandhgala set from Shantanu & Nikhil and got us swooning over his debonair avatar.
The ever-young Rekha Ji sizzled in a royal white saree fully covered in shimmering gold embellishments. She teamed it with a sleek maang tikka and a layered pearl choker.
Riteish Deshmukh looked debonair as always and completely blew our minds in his half embellished and half-velveteen Nehru jacket, a cowled kurta and black pants.
Setting some serious goals with their remarkable outfit choices at Akash & Shloka's wedding was also the cutest couple of tinsel town-Shahid & Mira. While Shahid took away our breaths in an offbeat polka-dotted bandhgala, Mira tugged at our hearts in her coral pink lehenga which she teamed with wavy hair, nude lips and a royal choker.
